Refund & Returns

Our handmade ranges are worked in small batches. Slight variations in finish, colour, grind, or materials may occur and are a normal, expected part of the making process. These variations are not defects.

By purchasing a handmade piece, you acknowledge and accept the nature of hand work, and understand that it will differ from a mass-produced item.

In accordance with UK law, specifically the Criminal Justice Act 1988 (as amended) and the Offensive Weapons Act 2019, we do not sell knives, bladed products, or cutting tools to any person under the age of 18. By placing an order for any knife or bladed product, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age.

We offer a 14-day return window for eligible items. You have 14 days from the date you receive your order to request a return.

To be eligible for a return:

• The item must be unused and in the same condition as received
• It must be returned in its original packaging
• Proof of purchase is required

The following items cannot be returned or refunded:

• Custom or made-to-order knives
• Personalised items
• Sale items
• Gift cards

Please make sure you are happy with the specifications before placing a custom order.

To start a return, contact us at handfab.enquiries@gmail.com within 14 days of receiving your order.

If your return is approved, we will send return instructions and the return address. Items returned without prior approval cannot be accepted.

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, unless the item is faulty or incorrect.

Please inspect your order on delivery. If your item arrives damaged, faulty, or incorrect, contact us as soon as possible with photographs so we can assess the issue and put it right.

This does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Customers outside the UK are responsible for return shipping costs and any customs documentation required. International return shipping times may vary and can take longer than expected.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the outcome.

If approved, refunds are issued to the original payment method within 10 business days. Banks and payment providers may take additional time to process the refund.

In accordance with consumer protection regulations, UK and EU customers have the right to cancel eligible orders within 14 days of receiving the goods, provided the item is unused and not custom-made.
